At CreativeMornings/Seattle this morning, Sara McNally spoke about Analog Passion & Craft in an Economic Downturn: How I Became a Small Business Owner (and Why it Was a Good Idea). Above is a selection of work from Constellation & Co., a boutique design & letterpress print studio located in Pioneer Square, where she and her husband, Brad, are designers and founders.
Recently featured in the Seattle Times’ Pacific Northwest Magazine section about Pioneer Square’s Small Business Owner/Artist Combos, their work is carried several in nation-wide retailers, from our local Elliott Bay Book Co, Downtown Seattle Library, to McNally Jackson Books (NYC), Curiosity Shoppe (San Francisco), and The Library Store (Los Angeles). In addition to being invited to participate and donate work for the AIGA Charlotte Chapter’s “Letterpress Fest” Pop-Up Gallery, they’ve been vendors at prestigious juried craft shows including: Renegade Craft Fair (worldwide), Urban Craft Uprising (Seattle), and Crafty Wonderland (Portland).
Their work has been featured on a plethora of design blogs, including: Design Sponge, the Cargo Showcase, Paper Crave, Invitation Crush, and the Real Simple Blog, as well as a recurring featured seller on Fab.com
