This week, Hurricane Sandy hit the Northeast area and we are still beginning to find out the damage and long-lasting impact of the storm. One of the places it hit particularly hard was DUMBO, the location of CreativeMornings HQ and Galapagos Art Space, who has generously been hosting CreativeMornings/NewYork events for the past few years.

Yesterday, we launched a SmallKnot campaign to help raise the money to pay for damages to the space. In one day, we exceeded our goal, but Robert Elmes, the owner, is going to need *so* much more to get the space back up and running. Galapagos provides a place for theatre, performances, as well as live-streaming of the debates to DUMBO and the surrounding community.

Let’s help Robert get back on his feet. Let’s show him that his generosity with CreativeMornings (and so many other event organizers) didn’t go unnoticed.
