Brooks Atwood marked our final speaker at the December 2012 CreativeMornings/NewYork where three members of our audience took the stage and shared stories on their life and experiences.
An Assistant Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Brooks Atwood is also the founder and principal of POD DESIGN. In his talk, he gave the following advice:
Never turn down an opportunity for a great story.
Break all the rules.
Do it 27 times. Just keep doing it.
Anything is more fun if you jump in the air.
Dress better.
Don’t try to add complexity. The simplest thing will add in complexity later.
Curate your reference images.
Anything is attainable.
Never ever ever apologize for your creativity.
