To celebrate the end of another fantastic CreativeMornings year we thought we’d continue last year’s tradition and turn the mic to you, our audience. We sent out an open call for anyone interested to apply to speak at CM this month in NYC, London, Milan or Geneva.

Our final speaker at the December 2012 CreativeMornings/NewYork was Brooks Atwood.

Brooks Atwood, Assistant Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, is the founder and principal of POD DESIGN. With work that spans from art and sculpture to innovative architecture to products, Atwood’s work pushes the boundaries of conventional design. He has collaborated on award-winning art and sculpture installations, and his work is part of the permanent collection at the Samsung Museum of Art in Seoul, Korea. Brooks was also a featured designer on the DIY Network for Esquire Magazine’s The Ultimate Bachelor Pad as well as on Showtime for the Showtime Show House, The United States of Tara.

The event was generously hosted by Galapagos Art Space in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

A big thank you to Ben Hallman for filming and editing.
