The speaker at today’s CreativeMornings/Raleigh is Lyle Estill, founder of Piedmont Biofuels, a community scale biodiesel project in Pittsboro that collects used fats, oils and greases from throughout the region and converts them into B100 biodiesel fuel.

Lyle is the author of several books, and many blog entries and articles on renewable energy, local economy, adaptation and sustainability. He is a reluctant activist who now finds himself entrenched in what he calls, ‘the renewable energy establishment.’
