Kaan’s profile is by far one of our favorites so far. Here’s his favorite GIF, and if you gave his five minutes—he could teach out how to moonwalk away from a conversation. He says eat pudding, “Life is short. Eat Pudding.” Check him out here. →
We ♥ Kaan, a volunteer at our Auckland chapter. Besides his clear passion for astronauts, space, pudding, and pop culture—he makes some pretty nifty work as well. Check him out. →
Check out these brilliant sketches of last Friday’s CreativeMornings/Auckland with Deanna Yang done by one our talented early risers, Natasha Vermeulen. You can see more of Natasha’s work at From The Mill. Thanks Natasha!
And keep an eye out tomorrow for our photo’s of last Friday!
Each month we send out a global newsletter that summarizes all the CreativeMornings goodness happening around the world. From Austin to Zürich, we summarize the talks to watch, share photos, quotes, and more to get your fill of caffeinated inspiration.
The speakers this month touch upon multiple aspects of play from Max Tempkin, founder of Cards Against Humanity (Chicago), Tomáš Pilař, a young Opera Director (Prague), to Jemma Kahn, the primary illustrator and principal storyteller in ‘The Epicene Butcher’ who will be performing her take on Kamashibai (Johannesburg).
As always, free tickets are available starting the Monday before the talk.

Congratulations to Coffee Supreme and Hardhat Design!
Congrats to our CreativeMornings Auckland sponsors, Coffee Supreme (and Hardhat Design) for winning 1st place in the Non-Alcoholic Beverage category at The Dieline Package Design Awards 2013!
Coffee Supreme’s take-out cups were already known in NZ and Australia for being unusual, distinctive and quirky, so while we knew from our re-brand brief that they wanted the brand to ‘grow up’, it was important they didn’t lose their individuality.
