At design legend George Lois’s profound CreativeMornings/NewYork talk this November, he ended with some powerful advice for creative types: Be courageous.

Thanks to the wonderful work of Ben Hallman, we put together this quick excerpt for you to enjoy. Check it out, only 1:40 min.

This is our first time doing a short from a CreativeMornings talk. What do you think about this format?

Tickets for this Friday’s CreativeMornings/NewYork event with George Lois sold out in 6 minutes, and for good reason. The prolific art director and author is perhaps best known for the more than ninety-two covers he designed for Esquire magazine between 1962 and 1972 (above).

The event is taking place in The Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Friday, November 16, 2012! All are invited to stay at the Museum and view the exhibition after the talk.
