We have some pretty talented folks in the CreativeMornings community, one of which is our extra wonderful Barcelona host Vasco Mourao, who creates intricate illustrations of architecture like this one of Central Park.

Like Knows Like is at it again. This time talented photographer Marije Kuiper and filmmaker Bas Berkhout profiled Jessica Walsh, a designer, art director, and illustrator working in New York City.
She is a partner at design studio, Sagmeister & Walsh and teaches at the School of Visual Arts. Her work has won numerous design awards. Recently, Warner Bros. has acquired the film rights of her viral side-project called “40 Days Of Dating.”
If you don’t know Like Knows Like, check them out. They profile people they admire on social media, exploring their personal lives and sharing insights into their real personas with the ultimate goal being “to make our social timelines more meaningful.” Bas Berkhout also helped produce out December illustration for our theme of Make. →
We love this t-shirt design by Jen Mussari, a volunteer at our New York chapter. While it’s currently not in print, you can sign up to know when it comes available over on Cotton Bureau. Cotton Bureau features design submissions, then sees if 25 folks will buy it. If they surpass that—it goes to the press!
Cotton Bureau an online community founded by Jay Fanelli, past CreativeMornings/Pittsburgh speaker. Watch his talk.
Consider the CreativeMornings Newsletter a monthly list of the most interesting things happening in sixty creative cities around the world. From Amsterdam to Johannesburg, we have a pulse on all the goodness happening. And then we summarize it and send it to you.

To celebrate the end of another fantastic CreativeMornings year, we decided to continue last year’s tradition and turn the mic to our audience. We sent out an open call for anyone interested to apply to speak at CreativeMornings this December in NYC, London, Milan or Geneva.
In New York, Theron Humphrey, Holley Murchison and Brooks Atwood were the chosen speakers. Above are just a few photos from the event, taken by Katherine Miles Jones.

Stormy skies and blustery winds couldn’t keep down the spirits of CreativeMornings/NewYork attendees. The September event was held on Governors Island, a first for the NewYork chapter, and featured Anne Frederick of the Hester Street Collaborative. The morning was hosted and sponsored by Mailchimpand Freshbooks. Photos by Katherine Miles Jones.
