A bit of a throwback, Paddy Harrington was the speaker this past June at CreativeMornings/Toronto. As part of the first themed month, for the first time in CreativeMornings history all the talks centered around one topic, the magical intersection of Arts and Technology.
Paddy Harrington is Executive Creative Director at Bruce Mau Design, Inc. Since joining BMD in 2003, he has led some of the firm’s most high profile and complex projects. In this talk Harrington explores his ideas on design driven thinking and addresses the theme of Art & Technology and how these two ways of thinking have become so separated in our modern working and living cultures.
Some takeaways:
1. Start with desire.
2. Design the experience.
3. Think by doing.
A big hat tip to Jordan Lloyd and Mathieu Martel for shooting and editing the video.
